Review: We visited the cafe at this very smart farm shop for tea and cakes. Its clean lines and bright interior mark it out as one of the new breed of farm based enterprises, slick and modern rather than comfortable and folksy. We happen to prefer the latter but may be in a minority judging by the number of the former which are springing up. The prices in such establishments also tend to be a good deal higher, as they were here, but the management very reasonably make a big play of the fact that they use only local produce of the highest quality. I am sure many customers are happy to pay a considerable premium for such an offering. For us, about £9.50 for two cups of tea and a fairly simple tray bake was rather higher than we felt comfortable paying outside a major city. When we ordered two teas, the server unfortunately allocated us, without checking our preference, two individu
al cups of tea rather than a pot for two which was cheaper and would, presumably, have contained enough for a refill.

August 2022
We attended the August Bank holiday weekend Earls Barton Transport show held at Whites and we really enjoyed it. Prices for entry , drinks and food were fair and the traction engines ,cars and bikes were just great to see and hear and smell…. The stalls were very interesting to look over and enjoy. Car parking was free and marshalled well … The show is on for the rest of the weekend and Monday… Go if you can …

Review: Well food ok??? But wow the price £8 for maybe 2 eggs few lettice leaves and 1x slice toast honestly not at all value for money. I know price if everything is going good up but that’s just a rip off?? I won’t be coming again
But saying all that clean cafe and the staff were nice considering it is a Sunday morning Imust admit very few people

About Whites of Earls Barton
Whites of Earls Barton (formerly Whites Nurseries) began as a small business established by Philip White in the 1940’s. He set up his business in a greenhouse behind the family home in West Street, Earls Barton, Northampton. The business has recently undergone an expansion and now includes a Farm Shop selling fruit and veg, with new butchers and deli, fresh flowers, dairy produce, local ales and cider, artisan drinks and wines, local eggs, honey and ice cream, fresh bread, oils and preserves, logs, coal and kindling and much more. Our Kitchen Café opened in December 2021, where you can enjoy specialty coffee, refreshments, and sweet and savoury treats.
